Garth Turner
As an author, Garth Turner has sold more than 250,000 books on personal finance and the economy since 1995. His latest 2020: New Rules for the New Age, released in the autumn of 1999, is a national best-seller. Other books include, 2015: After the Boom, The Strategy, The Defence and his annual RRSP Guide.
He is known to most Canadians in one way or another, and hundreds of thousands of people look to him for financial guidance and information every day. His daily radio commentary reaches more than 600,000 listeners in nearly 30 Canadian markets. He is also a nationally syndicated newspaper columnist, entrepreneur, philanthropist and Canada's most popular public speaker. Currently, Garth is the host of Garth Turner's Investment Television, which airs nationally on the Global and Prime network. He is also the publisher of The Turner Report a popular monthly newsletter, with a growing subscriber base.
In addition, Garth Turner is the CEO of one of Canada's fastest-growing multimedia companies. Millennium Media Television Enterprises produces and owns several highly-successful television programs, such as Linda's Money Show, Dot.com Television, Real Estate Television and Mutual Fund Television.
Garth is also the principal behind WorkdayTV.com. The world's first live wireless Internet television station delivering original investment and business news and information to online users from nine to five, Monday to Friday.
Garth Turner has served as a Member of Parliament, as Canada's federal Minister of National Revenue and is a spokesperson for and financial supporter of the Alzheimer Society of Canada
